Late-breaking abstract submission for the 9th International Congress on Neuropathic Pain was open from 2 June 2025 and ran until 8 June 2025 to enable recent research findings to be included at the event as poster presentations.
The late-breaking abstract submission is now closed.

Instructions
- The research must be novel, innovative, contemporary, and of high scientific significance.
- Abstracts concerning all areas of neuropathic pain and itch are eligible for submission. This year, we are also looking for interdisciplinary investigations, e.g. on what neuropathic pain and itch research can learn from other painful and/or inflammatory conditions.
- Abstracts must describe original scientific material that has not been previously published or presented at other national or international meetings. NeuPSIG does not allow encore presentations. However, if a poster abstract was presented elsewhere only with preliminary results and complete results are now available, it may be submitted.
- All speakers need to be able to communicate fluently in English and should be prepared to register and attend NeuPSIG 2025.
- The submitting speaker needs to be a member of IASP and NeuPSIG.
Please also note:
- Very limited places are available for late-breaking abstracts in the programme, therefore the selection will be done very critically
- Abstracts can only be submitted online via the online submission system. Abstracts sent by post or email will not be accepted. No exceptions will be made.
- Abstracts must be submitted in English.
- Abstracts received after the deadline will not be considered.
- Submission of an abstract acknowledges your acceptance of the abstract to be listed in the official meeting publications.
- The presenting author of an abstract needs to be a member of IASP and NeuPSIG or be sponsored by someone who is an IASP & NeuPSIG member. They also need to be prepared to register to attend NeuPSIG 2025.
- Presenting authors are required to ensure that all co-authors are aware of the content of the abstract before submission.
- Presenting authors need to declare any conflicts of interest relating to their poster.
