Financial Aid

We are pleased to offer financial aid opportunities for eligible participants to support their attendance at the conference. Please review the following criteria and application process carefully before submitting your application.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for financial aid, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • You must submit an abstract to present a poster at the congress.
  • You must be a Trainee, i.e. be a current student or be within 5 years of your last degree.
  • You must currently work and live in a lower or lower middle-income countries (as classified by World Bank Country Classification).

The NeuPSIG Scientific Programme Committee will carefully evaluate proposals based on the scientific merit of the submitted abstracts and financial need. Decisions will be announced alongside poster acceptance notifications.

What Financial Aid Covers

Selected applicants will receive a complimentary registration as well as support for travel and accommodation costs. Please note that financial aid does not cover other expenses.

Reimbursements will be processed only after the conference has concluded. Participants must attend the event and fulfill their presentation commitments to receive financial aid.

You will be asked to provide:

  • Your abstract submission number (which you can find in your abstract submission confirmation email).
  • Evidence of your trainee status, e.g. a document proving your student status, your degree certificate or a signed confirmation from your employer confirming your trainee status.
  • Your details including current work address.
  • A short max. 500 word motivational statement explaining your need for financial assistance and how attending the conference will benefit your research and professional development
